Vancomycin stress response in a sensitive and a tolerant strain of Streptococcus pneumoniae

Wolfgang Haas, Deepak Kaushal, Jack Sublett, Caroline Obert and Elaine I. Tuomanen.

J Bacteriol. 2005 Dec;187(23):8205-10.

Three replicate experiments were performed for each time point. Two replicate experiments were performed with RNA from untreated cells labeled with Cy3 and RNA from Vancomycin-treated cells labeled with Cy5 dye. The third replicate experiment was a dye-flip (untreated RNA labeled with Cy5 and Vancomycin-treated RNA labeled with Cy3).
