Research activities in the Chen laboratory center on the development of technology and reagents for small–molecule-based drug discovery. The major scientific focus of the laboratory is the study of transcription factor signaling pathway. We strive toward the discovery and development of novel pharmacological tools and therapeutic agents to help in the attenuation of adverse drug responses and treatment of human diseases such as cancer, liver disease, and bone disorder. Our major technological focuses are on assay development, high-throughput screening, high-content screening, and multiplexing technologies.
